How do you repair Apple MacBook screens?

We use genuine LG displays, the same supplier Apple uses for their Mac screens, ensuring our screens match the original in resolution and pixel density. Contrary to popular belief, Apple do not manufacture MacBooks, they design them, and other companies then manufacture and assemble them (LG, Sharp, Foxconn etc).

  • MacBooks are manufactured in very expensive dust-free factories by robots. Despite using a lab grade laminar flow hood, there is a chance that some dust particles might be visible between the screen panel and the backlight sheets after replacement. We use utmost care to minimise this, and use a forensic grade laminar flow hood to prevent introducing any new contamination. Nevertheless, it is not entirely avoidable. Typically, such dust is not visible from normal reading distance, only if you are extremely up close and looking for these particles.
