When to choose a diagnostic
Pick this service if you have any of: multiple symptoms at once (e.g. a spill that affected charging and the keyboard), an intermittent fault that’s hard to pin down, a MacBook that won’t power on at all, post-third-party-repair issues, or a fault that doesn’t fit any of our standard service categories. We diagnose, give you a written report, and quote any repair work needed before any further action — the diagnostic fee is credited against your repair if you proceed, and there’s no charge if you don’t.

We encourage customers to reach out if you’re unsure about your symptoms or considering this service, as your issue may be covered by another service with a fixed price. We understand that some symptoms can be vague or hard to identify. If you don’t see your issue listed on our ‘Select Your Issue’ page, simply send us a WhatsApp message with a description of the problem, along with any relevant photos, and we’ll have a technician review it for you.
In over a decade of business, we have heard endless grievances from our customers about other repair shops and even the Apple Store. Lack of transparency about pricing and what work is actually required is the most frequent complaint.
Shops regularly underquote, underdiagnose and then the price increases once they have your Mac in their possession. Customers then feel pressured to go ahead and authorise the repair.
To resolve this, we charge a fixed price for our repairs - so you know exactly what you are paying before your Mac leaves your hands- we then give you a full diagnostic and explain how we resolved your issue once our technicians have assessed your Mac.

I recently had my 2017 iMac fail. I put quote requests out none replied, only bits. I was told the price for repairs up front. They fitted a new power supply which got it working but found another fault on the motherboard which they fixed. I was kept informed and had explanation of my repairs. I would recommend them for a first class price and service. Well done to all.

This company is great. I dropped my MacBook and needed a new screen started of and messaged them on their WhatsApp link and they gave me costs and explained the process. When I arrived there the lady on the reception was really nice had a small chat and we picked it up later that day and Mac screen is like new really impressed with their services. After shopping around for a reasonably priced MacBook Air screen replacement and receiving several quotes that were far from affordable, I came across BITS through a recommendation on Perplexity.

I had a really positive experience of BITS. I took in my iMac in with a suspected power supply issue, mid-afternoon. The following morning (just 18 hours later) I was contacted to say that the replacement power supply was fitted and diagnostic checks were complete. I went in to collect and was given space and time to start-up and check the computer.
I'm really pleased with the service as well as the courteous and efficient dealings with Muhammad and Adam. Good price too, I imagine a fraction of the Apple price!

Very helpful, took my laptop for the first time and got it fixed super quickly. There seemed to be a problem a little after with the screen, took it in again and they sorted it out very quickly again and with no fuzz under the warranty, even gave me advice on other non-related problems I had. Decent!

Great job. My daughter had destroyed the screen and chassis of her iPad pro 12.9 and then it stopped working. BITS were up front and transparent about costs, they ordered a new motherboard, replaced the screen and put in a new charging port. All for a fair price. Good comms, nice people. I was worried about getting ripped off when searching for someone to do the repair work. I made a good choice, recommend💯,thanks guys 👍
